Suppliers Portal UI/UX
I joined this project as a brand consultant, but I quickly stepped in as the Lead UI Designer. The IT team was doing a great job technically, but they needed someone to bridge the gap between complex data and a user-friendly interface. As one manager put it: "we didn’t even know we were missing someone like you". My goal was to clean up the inconsistent legacy UI and bring it up to our modern brand standards.
Heuristic Audit & UI Fixes
I started by analyzing the existing screens to find usability issues and proposed quick, visual improvements that made the data much easier to read.
Building a Style Guide
I created a consistent system of colors, typography, and icons to make sure the portal felt professional and aligned with the Electrolux ecosystem.
Developer Collaboration
To make implementation smoother, I provided the team with clear Figma handoffs and ready-to-use HTML/CSS snippets.
Design QA & Mentoring
I stayed close to the dev team during sprints, explaining the "why" behind my design choices—like Gestalt principles—to ensure the final product matched the vision.
